11th Yelabuga International Schoolteachers Festival
The forum is held at KFU’s Yelabuga Institute on 17 – 19 August, 2021.
Over 300 teachers from 110 cities and villages decided to visit the festival in person. Apart from them, over 40 students joined the Summer Teaching School of the forum. 4,000 participants are joining online.
The opening ceremony on 17 August was visited by Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin, Deputy of the State Council (Parliament) of Tatarstan Lyudmila Rybakova, Chairman of the Tatarstan Branch of the Union of Education and Science Workers Yury Prokhorov, Head of Yelabuga Municipal District Rustem Nuriev, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Director the Yelabuga Institute of KFU Yelena Merzon, Rector of the Institute of Educational Development of Tatarstan Lyudmila Nugumanova, Rector of the Kazan State Institute of Culture Roza Akhmadieva, General Director of the Yelabuga State Museum Reserve Gulzada Rudenko, and others. A video greeting was sent was sent by Vice-Premier of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva.
The guests toured the in-forum educational expo and gifted school kits to first Yelabuga’s first graders. They also visited the University School of Yelabuga (one of KFU’s three in-house secondary schools) and the House of Scientific Collaboration. The University school was separately toured by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin on 19 August.
The forum comprises more than a 100 master classes from 77 experienced teachers, several panel sessions, seminar, workshops, and a very packed leisure program.
