International Conference on Algebra, Analysis and Geometry 2021

The conference is being held on 23 – 27 August.

The opening ceremony on 23 August was visited by President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Myakzyum Salakhov, Vice-Rector of KFU for Earth Sciences Danis Nurgaliev, Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IM SBRAS) Yury Yershov, and others.

As Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of KFU Yekaterina Turilova noted, over 180 contributors arrived to Kazan, while about 120 more are joining online.

The conference aims to discuss solutions of the problems of classifying natural structures of degrees of solvability according to their algorithmic complexity and information capacity, degrees of constructivizations of countable algebraic structures, problems of describing invariants of classical algebraic structures.

KFU Professor Marat Arslanov was awarded the Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Mathematics by Yury Yershov on behalf of IM SBRAS.

Later during the forum, the winner of the 2021 Lobachevsky Medal and Prize is going to be announced.
