KFU visited by leadership of Salymbekov University

The guests arrived on Knowledge Day, 1 September.

The delegations comprised Founder of SU Askar Salymbekov and President of the institution Amangeldi Zhumadilov. They meet with Rector Ilshat Gafurov and discussed cooperation in education, science, network projects, and student employment. Salymbekov University specializes in medical education, management, IT, engineering, and agriculture.

The two visitors toured student campuses, labs, and other facilities of Kazan Federal University.

According to their feedback, the Kyrgyzstani guests were most impressed by the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology and its Center for Medical Simulation and Accreditation. The latter is equipped with cutting-edge machines, simulators, software, mannequin patients, and operating rooms.

On 2 September, Mr. Salymbekov and Mr. Zhumadilov moved to Yelabuga, where KFU’s territorial campus is located. They toured the University School of Yelabuga, a secondary educational institution merged with KFU in 2020, and the Yelabuga Institute itself, focusing on digital infrastructure.
