Memorandum of understanding signed with State Testing Center of Uzbekistan

A video conference was held on 9 March.

The signatories were Interim Rector Dmitry Tayursky and Director of the State Testing Center of Uzbekistan (STCU) Madzhit Karimov.

As Dr. Tayursky noted, Kazan University is very interested in expanding cooperation in language testing and certification in Central Asia, particularly in Uzbekistan. The memorandum will significantly contribute to the implementation of joint programs between KFU and Uzbekistani partners.

Currently, KFU hosts 2,543 Uzbekistani nationals and co-manages 45 joint programs with Uzbekistani universities.

The University and STCU are going to cooperate in creating and improving testing materials for Russian as a foreign language, as well as English, French and German languages.
