KFU designers working on renovations at Kazan Airport

The business lounges are being worked on currently.

Associate Professor Yelena Denisenko comments on the works, “We have already redesigned the Sky Lounge on the first floor of terminal 1A. We wanted to create a diversified space for rest, dining, work, and conversation.”

The designers offered a new kind of furniture, fragmented ceiling painting, lighting elements of varying heights, metal and wooden dividers, and some greenery.

Renovations are currently underway in terminal 2. There will be a new look for a business lounge on the second floor and an entrance area on the first floor.

“We want to create different zones comfortable for everyone. The first floor will feature sofas and chairs, and the second floor – a bar with sofas, chairs, and tables for passengers. There will be plenty of live plants,” adds Denisenko.

The concept design was created by her in cooperation with student Kseniya Kutyavina and architect Alina Grigoryeva.
