Admission campaign underway at Cairo Branch

The branch started classes in December 2023 in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the decree of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi.
The branch, which currently has 385 students, is located in a state-of-the-art teaching and laboratory building in close proximity to a hospital.
“The first wave of entrance tests for biology and English have now been conducted. The applicants are eagerly waiting for the results,” says Timirkhan Alishev, Vice-Rector for International Affairs. “Before taking the exams, future students had to prepare, translate into Russian and properly fill in the documents necessary for admission. At all stages of registration they were assisted by members of the admission commission of the Branch.”
Local employees were assisted by colleagues from Kazan. Students could take the exams both in-person and online using a special system.
“A series of master classes and trainings were held for colleagues from Cairo on processing applicants’ data, accepting and filling out questionnaires, as well as adhering to KFU’s high standards in conducting admission tests. Members of the KFU Admission Commission were personally present at the exams and took an active part in all stages of the entrance exams together with a friendly team from Cairo. I would like to note the high level of preparation of the staff, and wish all applicants to pass the exams successfully and to have an excellent time at Kazan Federal University,” the Vice-Rector adds.
