KFU and FESCO to launch master’s program in intelligent logistics this year

The program aims to prepare professionals for optimization and automation of logistics processes with the use of contemporary technology, AI, and business analytics.
“The changing general situation and the increasing role of technologies require logistics specialists to constantly acquire new knowledge and be able to apply it organically. Future masters will be able to practice in FESCO divisions across Russia – Vladivostok, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk. This will allow practicing in real business processes the knowledge acquired during the training program,” noted Vice-President of FESCO for Ports and Organizational Development Pavel Shalit.
Students will learn about international logistics, foreign trade, strategic analysis, client-oriented business model, process optimization, risk assessment, legal provisions, and much more.
Apart from this program, FESCO will also launch another master’s curriculum in international cargo logistics – this one with the Russian University of Transport.
FESCO is one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in Russia with assets in the port, railway and integrated logistics business, which allow it to deliver cargo door-to-door and control all stages of the intermodal chain. FESCO’s fleet includes 37 transport vessels under management, which carry out transportation mainly on its own sea lines.
