Over 8,000 foreign nationals have applied for admission in 2024 so far

Executive Secretary of the Admission Commission Alexander Bibik has shared the latest news.
“More than 2,200 applications have been received to date from applicants from non-CIS countries and more than 5,900 – from CIS countries. The leader in the number of applications is Turkmenistan,” he said.
Uzbekistan and China are second and third so far.
The Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication (858 applications) and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology (850 applications) are the most popular among foreign applicants today, followed by the Institute of International Relations, the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance and the Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications.
“From June 24 to 28, the first series of KFU internal online admission exams for foreign applicants took place. It was attended by those applying to the parent university, as well as to its branches in Jizzakh and Cairo,” informed Bibik. “Applicants take exams remotely. This year, the system has been improved to detect more violations.”
At the Jizzakh Branch, 80 young people have already successfully completed their entrance exams.
“The second series of internal entrance tests for foreign applicants will be held from July 16 to 24. During this period it will be possible to take the exams not only online, but also in person. For example, for the first time KFU will hold entrance exams in general medicine and dentistry exclusively on-site in Kazan,” added the Secretary.
