10 best university startups showed at KFU Acceleration Program demo day

The accelerator program started in May and consisted of educational and project blocks. More than 800 students and employees of KFU participated in the project. In total, they developed 62 startup projects, 10 of which were presented at the final demo day.
The jury included representatives of development institutions, technology entrepreneurs and industry experts: Natalia Galkina, founder and CEO of Neurotrend, Anton Alimov, Head of Regional Development at the Skolkovo Foundation, Alexei Taranov, Head of the Startup Hub at the Bashir Rameev IT Park, Adel Gilaziev, Director of Acceleration Programs at Idea Technopark, Yevgeny Terentyev, Corporate Director of the University Startup Studio, and others.
The experts noted the high level of project preparation and gave all the speakers valuable feedback, pointing out further development points.
As a result of all the presentations, 3 projects were awarded:
- New import-substituting technology for the synthesis of chromium (III) 2-ethylhexanoate as a component of a highly selective catalytic system for the industrial process of ethylene trimerization (Andrey Ivanov, Institute of Chemistry);
- PCR-test for bronchial asthma diagnosis (Bulat Ibragimov, Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology);
- SuperConducting Spin Technologies (Zhamshed Pulotov, Institute of Physics).
The award ceremony will be held on December 18.
KFU Accelerator started in 2022 as part of the federal project University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform. The main goal of the program is to search for innovative ideas, popularize technological entrepreneurship among students, develop competencies in building startups and attracting investments, and develop startup projects.
