Federal and provincial commendations given to KFU employees
A ceremony was held by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin in Kazan Kremlin.
KFU was represented by Research Supervisor of the Faculty of Law Ildar Tarkhanov, Professor of the Department of Regional and Eurasian Studies Andrey Yershov, and Professor of the Department of Anthropology and Ethnography Tatiana Titova.
Dr Tarkhanov has authored many papers and study materials in law, as well as five monographs. He is on the editorial boards of several journals. Tarkhanov was Dean of the Faculty of Law in 1992 – 2015 and was a member of the Higher Qualification Commission of Judges of Russia. During the event, he received an appreciation letter of the President of Russia.
Professor Yershov was awarded a certificate of merit from the President of Russia. Among his lifetime achievements – 26 books, over 200 papers in sociology, political science, economics, and public administration. He specializes in municipal governance and sociology of management.
Professor Titova was titled Distinguished Worker of Higher School of the Republic of Tatarstan. She was commended for her contributions to ethnology, intercultural communication, and migration studies.
