KFU receives Team Grand Prix at the 13th Student Spring of Tatarstan Festival
The gala was held on 23 May in Kazan.
Among the guests of honor were Rinat Sadykov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Shamil Yakupov, President of the Tatarstan Student League.
“Student Spring is a huge labor of a large number of people. Those who are always by your side and help you grow at this festival. I am sure that with such a student body we have a great and bright future,” Minister Sadykov noted.
He reminded that Tatarstan has been winning prizes at the All-Russian Student Spring for many years and expressed confidence that this year would not be an exception.
The President of the Students League also thanked the students and shared his hopes.
“We hope that the Republic of Tatarstan will show its excellent results at the Russian Student Spring and bring prize-winning places. Thank you very much to the student body and organizers who made this spring even brighter and better,” added Yakupov.
More than 500 students from KFU took part in the Student Spring of Tatarstan festival. Among the best at the festival were 46 teams and 18 students of our university. The KFU participants prizes in such nominations as Vocals, Instrumental Performance, Theater, Dance, Original Genre, as well as in Fashion, Media, and Video.
Among the performers at the gala were folk band Bәyrәm (Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication), vocal team Sito (Naberezhnye Chelny Institute), dance teams UVillDance and Stantsiya Sveta (Institute of Psychology and Education), folk dance team Sharq (Institute of International Relations), TANX band (Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications), and folk song team Smorodina (Institute of Management, Economics and Finance).
Kazan Federal University this year received the Grand Prix in three nominations – General University Score, Instrumental Music, and Media, as well as the first place in the General Program of the University and a special prize for the best decoration of the foyer.
The founder and organizer of the festival was the Student League of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Council of Rectors of the Republic of Tatarstan.
