KFU students among winners of Russian Student Spring 2024

The award ceremony took place in Saratov.

This year’s tagline was Student Spring. Closer to the Stars to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin (he was born in Saratov Oblast on 9 March 1934). Over 3,600 students from 80 Russian provinces joined the event.

The competitive program of the festival was held from May 27 to 30 and included 10 nominations: Regional Program, Vocals, Instrumental Music, Dance, Theater, Original Genre, Fashion, Media, Video, and Art.

In percussion instruments, the first place was taken by Richard Jesús Rosales Jiménez, a student of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance. In electronic music, the third place was won by Lev Kim (Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies).

In folk singing, the Smorodina (Currant) team was unrivalled.

Anastasia Stepanova (Institute of International Relations received a special prize for One Day Breakthrough in Artistic Photography in the media category.

Dmitry Tomkevich (Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications) won a grant from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs to establish a media laboratory.

The Student Spring was co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, and the Russian Youth Union.
