KFU team victorious at the 6th Young Medicine Forum in Moscow
The final stage was held on 3 – 4 December 2024.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Filatov International Foundation for the Development of Biomedical Technology, and supported the Council of the Federation, Presidential Grants Fund, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The University’s team, Cognomine Laiv, comprised:
Renat Valiakhmetov, resident vascular surgeon;
Timur Mukhamadiev, resident anesthesiologist;
Timur Kornev, Junior Research Associate of the Institute of Chemistry;
Zilya Khazipova, resident general practitioner;
Adel Valiullin, resident anesthesiologist;
Vladimir Ryabov, Junior Research of the Institute of Cytology (Russian Academy of Sciences).
The team showed excellent knowledge and erudition, placing first in the conference’s quiz competition.
The forum aims at supporting talented young researchers in medical science and pharmacy, attracting young people to research work, educating young people about Russian science and medicine, and strengthening generational ties with the Russian scientific community.
“This participation really contributes to our personal growth, makes us think about medical problems from different angles, and pay attention to new biomedical technologies. The quiz really helped refresh our knowledge in physics, chemistry, medicine, and even music,” shared team captain Valiakhmetov.
