KFU wins in eight nominations in Student of the Year in Tatarstan 2023 awards

The annual ceremony was hosted in Kazan on 25 January, on Russian Student Day; the organizers are Tatarstan League of Students supported by the Government of Tatarstan, the Council of Rectors of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan.

This was the 19th awards, and 466 applications were made.

The team nominations were: Student Self-Governance Body; Student Dormitory Council; Student Science Organization; Student Arts Club; Student Arts Collective; Student Sports Club; Student Media; Student Project; Student Organization; and Patriotic Organization.

The individual nominations were: Class President; Intellect; Entrepreneur; Creative Personality; Athlete; Media Personality; International Student; Volunteer; Social Worker; and Grand Prix.

Of those, eight first prizes went to KFU:

Class President – Lilia Tagirova (Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication);

Media Personality – Eva Batyukova (Institute of International Relations);

Entrepreneur – Andrey Shishov;

Intellect – Yury Mayasin;

Student Dormitory Council – council of the KFU Dormitory #5/3;

Student Self-Governance Body – Student Council of the Faculty of Law.

Victories in team nominations also went to Truba Media Center (Institute of Physics) and Mayak Forum (IPIC).
