Order of Alexander Nevsky received in person by Rector Lenar Safin from Aide to the President of Russia Alexei Dyumin

An award ceremony was held in Kazan Kremlin on Russia Day, 12 June.

The event was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Governor) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexei Dyumin, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Igor Levitin, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Lenar Safin, Rector of Kazan Federal University, and other honored guests.

There were 38 people who received state awards. Among them were representatives of various industries and spheres: industry, energy, transport, agriculture, science and education, healthcare, culture, sports, as well as service members, philanthropists, representatives of state and public organizations, and municipal administration.

Lenar Safin received his Order of Alexander Nevsky, which was awarded to him by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, from the hands of Alexey Dyumin.

The Aide to the President congratulated the laureates, noting their successes and achievements, which testify to their valiant service to their country.

The Rector, in turn, thanked for the high evaluation of his activities.

“It is a huge honor on this momentous day to receive such a high award. This award to our entire large staff of Kazan Federal University”, emphasized Dr Safin.

In particular, the Rector was awarded for his many years of conscientious work and high results achieved in his official capacities.The Presidential decree notes the merits of Dr Safin in science, teaching, and personnel training.
