Tatarstan ranked first among Russian regions in federal youth policy rankings
The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs has published the final ranking of Russian regions in the implementation of youth policy in 2023.
Director of the Department of Youth Policy Yulia Vinogradova spoke about opportunities provided to young people by KFU, “Kazan University is one of the flagships in state youth policy of the province. In 2023 the university became a leader among the educational organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the results of evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of state youth policy. In addition, last year KFU took second place in the ranking of higher education institutions of Russia according to the results of pilot monitoring of the effectiveness of the implementation of youth policy and educational activities.”
She reminded that KFU is the winner of the all-Russian contests “The best model of student self-government and educational work”, “The best practices of youth and student self-government bodies”, “The best trade union team of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “All-Russian Student Marathon”, “The best organization of civic and patriotic work”, “The best student sports club”, “The best organization of creative activities of educational organizations of higher education”, “The best organization of physical culture and sports activities”.
KFU recently won the Grand Prix of the 13th Republican Festival of Student Creativity Student Spring of the Republic of Tatarstan 2024.
“Our numerous victories and achievements once again prove that the work in youth policy in KFU is built correctly, thanks to which the students of the university have excellent opportunities for self-realization in various spheres,” says the DIrector. “There are more than 100 student public organizations and associations, 100 student teams and more than 140 student scientific clubs working at the university”.
Kazan University hosts many annual events that are well loved among students, including: All-Russian Student Day – Tatyana’s Day, Victory Flame in the Memory of Generations, Health Train, Spartakiad, Mosaic of Peoples Festival, Best Student Group, Student Spring, Freshman Day, and Territory of Knowledge Festival.
