Cooperation discussed with Center for Unique Instrument Development
Rector Lenar Safin met CUID Director Marat Bulatov on 28 February.
The sides talked about opening joint master and PhD programs and student internships at CUID. Apart from instrument making per se, the Center is engaged in spectroscopy and optical systems. An option of establishing a joint educational and research center is also on the table.

Director Bulatov was of high opinion of KFU’s infrastructure and potential. Rector Safin emphasized that the University is eager to help CUID develop and commercialize new devices.
Among CUID’s current products are video endoscopes for engine monitoring, lidars and pyrometers for fire detection, and fuel control devices. The Center also produces hyperspectral digital cameras for various applications.
The executives agreed to draft a cooperation roadmap for future reference.
