Memorandum of understanding signed with Allameh Tabataba’i University

The signing took place with the participation from the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Airat Gatiyatov on the sidelines of Russia – Islamic World KazanForum 2024 as part of the panel session Topical issues of development of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Islamic World in science and education in a multipolar world order.

This step became a new and very important milestone in the development of cooperation between the two universities. The reached agreements will contribute to a further expansion of partnership and strengthening of Russian-Iranian relations in general.

KFU and Allameh Tabataba’i University are currently working on an agreement to organize and conduct testing in Russian as a foreign language – the Kazan University Testing and Evaluation Center was opened at the Iranian university in 2023.

Further, the parties plan to develop and implement joint scientific and educational programs, academic mobility programs, fundamental and applied research in areas of mutual interest.

The day before, cooperation was discussed by Rector Lenar Safin and President Abdollah Motamedi at the forum.
