Video call held with Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology

Rector Lenar Safin and Vice-President of FUUAST Zabta Khan Shinwari discussed ongoing cooperation on 30 January.

Dr Safin noted that KFU aims to strengthen links with the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, including the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He mentioned a visit to FUUAST in August 2023, when the two sides talked about industrialization and commercialization of research and international cooperation in general.

“A memorandum of understanding was signed, which was an important step to increase mutual involvement as part of a general intensification of the cooperation of our two countries. We aim to develop links in energy, logistics, and humanities,” specified Rector Safin.

Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari opined that the KFU-FUUAST joint work will strengthen educational and scientific cooperation between Russia and Pakistan.

In conclusion, the Vice-President of FUUAST invited Russian colleagues to join the 1st Pakistani-Russian International Conference on the Evolution of Bilateral Cooperation in a Changing World Order.
