Startup as Graduate Thesis to be available starting 2022
The program has been approved for over 40 leading universities by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
The initiative aims at attracting talented students to technological and social entrepreneurship and at supporting nascent small businesses.
“Students can offer their business ideas,” says Bulat Zapparov, Head of KFU’s Center for Startup Methodology. “They will receive a short instructional course and then submit their work to the expert panel. Those deemed worthy of consideration can proceed to present their thesis as a startup pitch.”
With that, students can exit the University with an experience of business planning and presentation – which can further be capitalized on in their career.
To defend a graduation thesis in this format, a student must apply with his proposal at startup.meth@gmail.com before 30 March 2022.
The Center for Startup Methodology provides guidance in the process.
