Universities in Bishkek visited by KFU delegation

Interim Rector Dmitry Tayursky and his colleagues toured the capital of Kyrgyzstan on 11 February.

The guests visited the Western Campus of the International University of Kyrgyzstan. President of IUK Asylbek Aydaraliev and KFU representatives discussed cooperation in research, innovation, and education, in particular, at the planned Russian-Kyrgyzstani Ala Too Technology Park. IUK is one of the leading universities of the country with highly autonomous structural units and campuses. Kazanites expressed interest in some of the aspects of IUK’s management model, especially its highly successful cooperation with investors from various countries, thanks to which IUK now possesses new infrastructure and dormitories.

The delegates visited the Faculty of Medicine of IUK and met with employees of humanities and social sciences departments, including international relations, linguistics, regional studies, and Islamic studies.

Later, the visitors from Tatarstan met with the founder of Salymbekov University Askar Salymbekov. The sides talked about joint programs and network projects in medicine, humanities, IT and other specializations.
