University represented at Expo 2020 in Dubai

Several employees are visiting the United Arab Emirates.

The KFU delegation comprises Vice-Rector for Education Timirkhan Alishev, Director of the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems Mikhail Abramsky, Chief Medical Officer of the Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine Ivan Kiyasov, Chair of the Department of Petroleum Engineering Mikhail Varfolomeev, and Chair of the Department of Construction and Design Projects Albina Gayduk.

Dr. Alishev showed the university presentation to the attendants, among whom was the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy. The other KFU delegates also contributed, speaking about their respective thematic research and teaching.

This year’s expo takes up 400 ha and unites 192 participants. Russia’s pavilion is 400 sqm large. For the next six months, federal subjects of Russia will replace each other in representing the nation. The Republic of Tatarstan was given the honor to open the first week. Apart from academics, Tatarstan’s delegation also comprises government officials.
