University visited by Geo Research and Development Company and Jizzakh Petroleum

The delegation of Uzbekistani oilers arrived on May 13.

They visited the History Museum and spoke with representatives of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies.

“We can see major prospects for further cooperation,” said General Director of Geo Research and Development Company Azizbek Nazarov. “We are outlining some areas, such as modeling, geomechanics, petrophysics, etc. We are also interested in oil extraction, natural gas extraction and surveying.”

After listening to presentations by Vice-Rector for Research Danis Nurgaliev and Head of Petroleum Research Mikhail Varfolomeev, the guests went to the Institute of Chemistry and the 3D Geo Center to get acquainted with lab facilities and digital twins of petroleum deposits.
