University welcomed Siberian Conference on Control and Communications (SIBCON-2021)

The event took place on May 13 to 15.

Professionals from Russia, Austria, Vietnam, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan contributed to the proceedings.

Among the discussed innovations were ultrasound sensors for medical diagnostics, drone piloting software, robotic hand manipulators, and others.

The conference this time was headed by Evgeni Magid, Professor, Head of Intelligent Robotics Lab at KFU, and Oleg Stukach, Professor, Higher School of Economics.

Professor Magid commented, “The conference is a flagship event in communications. Five of the fifteen panels were dedicated to robotics and AI.”

Intelligent Robotics Lab made nine reports at the conference. Other labs of Kazan Federal University also contributed.
