Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of Iran in Kazan Masoud Mollai met with compatriots

The talks took place on 27 September.

KFU was represented by Director of the International Office Olga Vershinina and Head of Student Adaptation Unit Sergey Tsvetkov. Iranian students attended to discuss their everyday questions like accommodation, visas, and registration.

Olga Vershinina spoke about International Office’s new office at 9 Gvardeyskaya street in Kazan. The Office’s Passport and Visa Unit will simplify its procedures; among other things, electronic queue and online applications will be available.

Masoud Mollai said, “Kazan Federal University welcomes many Iranian students. We try to meet them often and help them. I am glad that Iranian students have acquired a good reputation here at KFU. I want to thank the university leadership for cooperation and support.”

Currently, KFU has 207 Iranian nationals in undergraduate and graduate programs, over 200 in the Preparatory School, and 6 in PhD courses.
