Vice-Rector for Finance Rishat Gazizullin exploring expansion opportunities in Kyrgyzstan

He and Counsellor to the Rector for Cooperation with Central Asia Rashid Azimov are visiting several cities.

Firstly, the visitors went to the International University of Kyrgyzstan in the capital Bishkek. The university houses two schools of medicine and a sizable number of international students, mainly from Southeast Asia.

Apart from that, a discussion was held about opening a preparatory center for prospective enrollees in the city of Osh. A building was proposed to accommodate the center’s premises. Local businessperson Akkuu Koychumanova plans to partner up with KFU to attract students. The center already has plans to admit over 200 young people from Pakistan in 2022.
