Cooperation roadmap signed by Kazan Federal University and Sharif University of Technology

The signing took place during Rector Lenar Safin’s five-day business trip to Iran.

Dr Safin visited SUT and talked with President Rasool Jalali on 24 June.

The two sides have a standing memorandum of understanding and a student exchange agreement, both signed in 2018. The points of mutual interest are petroleum science, petroleum chemistry, IT, and new materials. The universities plan to establish joint programs in petroleum engineering and business administration.

The roadmap outlines further developments in bilateral cooperation. The list of joint projects has been expanded. There are new proposals for double degree programs and integration with the business sector.

Organizational and staff issues were also discussed.
