Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Vahid Jalalzadeh meets with Iranian students of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology

The dialog with the students was also attended by Head of Student, Scholarship and International School Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Ahmed Heydarian, Consul General of Iran in Kazan Dawood Mirzakhani, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev, and Director of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology Andrey Kiyasov.

“The main reason for the meeting was the opening of the new building of the Consulate General of Iran in Kazan. This is a really important event. The Consulate will move to a separate building, which will be more comfortable and convenient for our students who will be able to come for appointments,” Alishev said.

In addition, the meeting discussed the main aspects of Iranian students’ stay in the Russian Federation and study at Kazan University. The students, in turn, talked about life in Russia and asked questions of interest.

As student Mohammad Asghari noted, the opening of the new Consulate General building is a significant event for all citizens from Iran because it is a place where they can come with their questions and suggestions.

“Such meetings for us students are also very useful. Today I would like to get information about studying at KFU, specifically dentistry,” the young man shared.

KFU currently hosts over 860 Iranian nationals enrolled in all levels of education.
