MagistriUm Olympiad for Master’s Program applicants
Dear Bachelor and Specialist degree final years students and graduates of Russian and foreign universities!
MagistriUm Olympiad for Master’s program applicants is held for graduates of Bachelor’s degree programs (3rd-4th years), Specialist’s degree programs (4th-5th years) and graduates of higher education institutions from Russian regions and foreign countries.
MagistriUm Olympiad for Master’s program applicants is included in the List of Olympiads and other intellectual and (or) creative competitions, events aimed at developing intellectual and creative skills, abilities to engage in physical education and sports, interest in scientific (research), engineering and technical, inventive, creative, physical-sports activities, as well as promotion of scientific knowledge, creative and sports achievements for the academic year 2022/23.
Foreign citizens, who have won the Olympiad have an opportunity to study on Master’s programs within the quota (Procedure of selection of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship for study within Russian Government quota and requirements (Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation No.1378 of November 3, 2020)).
Participants should register athttps://abiturhttps://abiturient.kpfu.ru/ient.kpfu.ru/ . Already registered users do not need to register again for 2022/23 academic year.

Participation is free of charge.
The Olympiad is held in two stages:
- The Qualifying Stage (Online Tour), which is held in distant mode. Dates: November 1 – December 1, 2022.
Appeals will be accepted on December 2-4, 2022 to mag.kpfu@gmail.com
- The Final Stage, which is held in-person (including with the use of distant learning technologies). Dates: February 13-28, 2023.

The Olympiad is held for:
- programs of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute – on campus of the Institute in Naberezhnye Chelny;
- programs of other institutes – in educational buildings of KFU in Kazan or in https://abiturient.kpfu.ru system (in case of distant mode).

According to Paragraphs 65 and 66 of the KFU Admission Rules for 2022/23 academic year:
- Upon consent of the participant and by the decision of the Examination Board, results of the prize-winners of the Olympiad will be considered as results Entrance Examinations (according to the scores indicated in the diploma of the Olympiad participant) to Master’s programs corresponding the academic field of the Olympiad (during one calendar year from the date of receipt of the diploma of the Olympiad).
- Upon consent of the participant and by the decision of the Examination Board, winners will be equated to those who received the highest scores in Entrance Examinations to Master’s programs corresponding the academic field of the Olympiad (during two calendar year from the date of receipt of the diploma of the Olympiad).
