All students now eligible for science trip funding

A new document was published outlining the requirements for funding requests in 2024.

The program aims to stimulate research-oriented students to join events held by Russian universities and institutions.

Deputy Head of the Division of Research Activities Liliya Valieva comments, “The funding initiative has been in place for over 10 years, but this year is the first when freshmen and medical residents can also apply. Additionally, now multiple applications can be made by one individual within the year.”

Thus, the program now covers full-time students of all levels, including undergraduate, graduate, PhD, and medical residents.

Documents must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the planned trip. The list is available here. The bursary covers travel, accommodation, and application fees.

Last year, 150 students made use of the funding initiative.
