Student squads ready to work hard in the summer

This year 260 students of Kazan Federal University in 13 squads are going to work in Krasnodar Krai, Irkutsk Oblast, Primorsky Krai, and in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Yana Ogloblina, Curator of the KFU Student Squads Headquarters, spent the academic year seeking employment partners and preparing young people for what was to come.

“My main task as a supervisor and a university employee is to provide comfortable employment for students for the summer,” said Yana. “I hope that throughout the summer students will also be able to work comfortably and will come to Kazan with bright impressions, emotions and, of course, a remuneration”.

There will be 6 pedagogical, 2 service, 3 train conductor and 2 construction teams. Kseniya Gryzlova, who completed her freshman year of the Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications, is a member of the Sapphire teacher squad. The student first heard about the existence of the squads at the beginning of the academic year, which interested her very much, and she has already sent an application. Having passed the way consisting of selections, exams, she received a long-awaited invitation. Kseniya works as a counselor in the Sea Star children’s summer camp. By her admission, for her it is a wonderful opportunity to spend the summer time productively and cheerfully, gaining new acquaintances and, undoubtedly, invaluable experience.

“I have the best superiors, if I may say so, because the atmosphere is very friendly. They are the best partners, who will always support and help. Of course, there are difficulties, sometimes I get tired and my hands are down. At that moment the squad comes to the rescue,” emphasized the young woman.

The wage in the construction squad starts from 60 thousand rubles a month, in train conducting – from 50 thousand rubles, in service and teaching – from 25 thousand rubles.
