KFU delegation visiting Egypt
Several executives are holding meetings with Modern Group.
The University is represented by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev, Vice-Rector for Biomedicine Andrey Kiyasov, and Deputy Director for International Affairs of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology Albina Valeeva.

In March of this year, KFU and Modern Group signed an agreement outlining steps to open a KFU branch in Cairo. The sides are currently working on synchronizing their curricula and preparing the necessary paperwork. The branch will concentrate on medical education, management, and program engineering. Modern Group has started internal fit-out works at the branch building and is negotiating with local clinics about future internships and residencies.

KFU is currently a home to 220 Egyptian students. Additionally, a preparatory program was opened by our university in Cairo in 2021.
