Summer University students share first impressions
Educational tracks started on 11 July.
Elbina Zhigitalieva from Bishkek State University (Kyrgyzstan) said, “We enjoyed Kazan very much, from the moment we landed we had very turbulent emotions. We had time to visit the Kazanka Embankment – very beautiful. Your people are very welcoming, especially the students of Kazan Federal University, who always answer all questions and help – very friendly.”
Her peer Karina Yalnyzdzha added, “Summer University unites countries like a bridge of friendship between nations. Here we met Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Iranians, and Turks. We like everything very much. We want to thank Kazan University, which gave us such an opportunity – to get acquainted, to get new knowledge. We are looking forward to the start of classes. In the program we were especially attracted by the fact that here we will not only learn new things, but also, for example, that we will represent our country, participate in sports events. We will also go on excursions, which is very interesting.”
Alibek Bizhanov from Aktobe Regional University (Kazakhstan) had words of gratitude for the opportunity to exchange cultural and research experience, “We are learning languages – keys to other cultures. Thanks to English, we are getting acquainted with other students.”
As for the University’s infrastructure, Alibek noted, “It really impresses with its size and facilities. We can recommend this university due to its capabilites and prospects.” He added that he had already made acquaintance with Uzbekistani and Indian students.
Summer University is co-organized by KFU, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Sociocenter, and supported by Samara State Technical University, Lobachevsky University, Udmurt State University, and Innopolis University.
