Andrey Shishov talks about his Entrepreneur of the Year award at 19th Student of the Year in Tatarstan ceremony

The ceremony took place last week.

Shishov specializes in online retail – last year he opened his own logistics company to work with Chinese producers. He has been working on online marketplaces for over two years now. Among other things, he is the founder of Kazan Amateur Football Championship.

“The league was established by me four years ago. As of now, it involves about 700 individuals every week. We organize matches with professional camera persons, photographers, referees, officials, and media services,” says the interviewee.

The tournament is currently ranked among the top three amateur football leagues in the city of Kazan.

Shishov is also an active participant of business forums and entrepreneurship accelerators for young people, among which are the School of Marketplaces, Young Entrepreneur of Russia, I Am in the Business, Business to the Young, various business trips, meetings, and international events.

“I want to help young people in starting their own businesses. I want to decrease the number of their rookie mistakes, show some pitfalls, and share my experience,” shares the awardee.

He opines that Student of the Year was a wonderful platform for networking and joint projects with other winners.
