First Russian university expo held at Russian House in Cairo, Egypt

Nine universities were represented at the event on 11 – 12 March.
The University was represented by Director of the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems Mikhail Abramsky, Deputy Director of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance Oksana Polyakova, Senior Lecturer of the Institute of Design and Spatial Arts Marina Davletgaraeva, Lead Specialist of the International Admission Unit Olga Baklanova, and PhD student Mahmoud Shaheen.
“We spoke about the University, its educational programs, and admission. The most lively interest was piqued by our virtual reality tour of the University’s Main Building and chemical classes,” comments Olga Baklanova.
As usual, expo visitors wanted to find out about such popular majors as medicine, dentistry, software engineering, economics, management, and civil engineering.
The Russian House, which is a humanitarian cooperation establishment set to promote Russian culture and education abroad, plans to arrange the next expo in October 2023.
As part of the visit, the KFU delegation toured one of its partners’ – Helwan University’s – facilities.
Dr Nabiullina says, “Helwan University implements programs in architecture, design, and arts. Our first joint events will take place in 2023.”
KFU was previously featured at Edugate Winter 2023 in the Egypt’s capital city.
