Entrance Examinations

For admission to undergraduate programs, applicants must pass internal entrance examinations. All applicants can take entrance exams only once. To pass the online exams, applicant needs a stable Internet connection, webcam, and microphone. The examiner will check the student’s identity and control the student’s behavior during online exams in order to prevent cheating attempts.

Please note that exams for “General medicine”, “Dentistry” and “Pharmacy” are held offline, in Kazan. University doesn’t provide with invitation for exams period.

Categories of persons eligible to enroll in education based on the results of general education entrance examinations conducted by KFU

I. specific categories of applicants entering KFU on the basis of secondary general education:

  1. disabled children, disabled people;
  2. international applicants;
  3. persons who have passed the final certification procedures in foreign educational institutions and have received a document of secondary general education within one year before the day of the documents submission and entrance examinations inclusive.

II. applicants entering KFU on the basis of vocational education, i.e. applicants

  1. on the basis of higher education;
  2. on the basis of secondary vocational education
    (including applicants on the basis of primary vocational education received before the entry into force of the Federal Law and certified by a state-issued document on primary vocational education, which confirms the receipt of secondary (full) general education, or a state-issued document on primary vocational education received on the basis of secondary (full) general education);
Deadlines and grounds for filing appeals

Deadlines for filing an appeal:

  • The appeal is filed on the day of the entrance examinations results announcement or during the next business day.
  • An appeal for violation of the established procedure for conducting an entrance examination may also be filed on the day of the entrance examination .
  • Missing the deadline for filing an appeal is the basis for refusing to accept applicants’ application for review of the entrance examinations results.

Grounds for filing an appeal:

  • Violations of the established procedure for conducting the entrance examination;
  • Disagreement with the assessment of the results of the entrance examination.

The appeal can be submitted to the Admissions Committee in the following ways:

  • personally;
  • via email appeal@kpfu.ru;
  • in the personal account of applicant in Budu Studentom

Application for taking the exam on a reserve day

Applicants who missed the entrance examination for a valid reason (illness or other circumstances proved with the document) are allowed to take the entrance examination in another group or on a reserve day.

Application can be submitted via email appeal@kpfu.ru no later than 3 days before the day of entrance examination.

Application for changing the entrance examination format

Application for changing the format (face-to-face/online) of the entrance examination must be submitted no later than 3 days before the exam date to the email appeal@kpfu.ru.
